is it bad to say that i'm excited for you to go away so i can see more photos of this magical place? i was so awestruck by them last time (just seeing them again here makes my heart flutter) i suppose if i can't go away for impromptu weekends, i'll just live vicariously through yours. happy weekend m'dear.

Christina

This is such a beautiful photo. I have to admit, I have never read this book. Shhh. : )

l've read Wuthering Heights at least 10 times. No shame in in :) Happy Valentines Day to you, too.

Sounds like a wonderful place. Oh, and bring on many, many dog and rain slicker photos as the mere thought of it makes me smile.

Nadia Lewis

Happy V-day to you too!

You are my blogging hero.
Your posts; short and sweet-witty and fun always bring a smile to my face. And I'm not even going to talk about the gorgeous photos...so good!
I hope you two had a lovely, lovely weekend. And now I'm yearning for some Heathcliff love...

Scout- Love your photos! That one of the house is something that appears in my dreams! You are such an inspiration, especially as a college art student. BY the way - great choice with Wuthering Heights! Keep up the great work!

Re-reading Wuthering Heights seems a very worthy admission to me, my friend. Rest well, little bookworm.

I keep coming back here (to see if you've posted again) and to look at that beautiful photo of the house - there is something so quiet and gentle and magical about it.

Chelsea

Love your blog! Just discovered it. These pictures are just lovely.

Hi, I've just came across your blog today - and I am so pleased I found it. Your photos are beautiful and I am swooning over the photo of the cabin. I will be back to explore your blog in more detail - just lovely!

lorna

i love your cabin. it looks perfect.
we are lucky enough to have a home by the coast too.
altho i love being there in summer, there is a sort of magic in winter-visiting. i am really the only one in my family who enjoys the chill of winter so often it is just me and my friends cosied up by the fire enjoying warm home cooking and long hours of talking.

Scout.

  • I'm Andrea. I like to make things. I like plaid and collecting curiosities to put under bell jars. I love books. Also, mockingbirds, bikes with baskets, textiles, cupcakes, and whiskey. Mostly, I run around making no sense.
